Shipment and delivery

All shipments are shipped as a package via Royal Mail. The package is expected to be delivered within 4-6 weekdays. In periods of holidays and absence, a longer delivery time must be expected.

Book orders will be shipped directly to your home address. PLEASE NOTICE that if the phttp://www.ikea.com/dk/da/catalog/products/80338960/ackage cannot be delivered in your mailbox, the package will be returned to the nearest post office, and you will be notified that you can collect your package there.

We deliver orders to Denmark, England, and Sweden. Unfortunately, goods cannot be collected from our warehouse.

When your order has been shipped and scanned in at Royal Mail, you will receive an email about this. The email will contain a Track & Trace no. so that you can follow your package.

The package must be collected within 10 days whereupon the package will be returned to us. If you do not collect your package within the time stated, and you subsequently want to cancel your order, the total shipping costs will be deducted from your balance.

Right of return/ cancellation

As all books are special and personally produced for each child, we cannot take back books. Therefore, it is very important to check all information entered when ordering.
However, if you are unsatisfied with the book you received, please call or write us so that we can find a solution.

Payment information

All prices are in GBP and is exempt from VAT. On mybestbook.co.uk, you can pay by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, and PayPal.

Of course, your credit card will not be charged until we ship your order.

Security

We use QuickPay to control the payments. QuickPay encrypts your credit card information with an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Thus, your credit card number or other information cannot be read or picked up by anyone during the transaction with Teller. Information provided on mybestbook.co.uk is solely stored to service you as a customer and deliver your goods. When paying for your order and entering your credit card information, this takes place directly through Teller. Thus, your credit card information is totally safe with Teller. Neither My Best Book nor anyone else can gain access to the information.

Moreover, Teller provides a guarantee for the consumers’ money when shopping on the Internet. As a customer, you are thus secured against misuse, and you have no excess.

Emails and marketing

As part of our customer service, we send an order confirmation when you have placed an order, a shipment confirmation when your order has been shipped, a follow-up email, and a confirmation of changes if you edited your data within 12 hours after the placement of your order.

Terms and conditions

Purpose and extent

These terms and conditions shall apply to the delivery of goods and services from My Best Book. For every purchase, the terms and conditions shall be accepted. My Best Book reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and with immediate effect for orders already placed.

Price and payment

All prices stated on mybestbook.co.uk are incl. VAT, and shipping costs shall be charged, unless otherwise stated. Payment is made with the placement of the order and with the payment methods stated on the website.

Delivery and delay

Delivery is made when the product is completed. As a rule, the product is produced and shipped within 4-6 weekdays after the placement of the order. The customer is entitled to cancel the agreement provided that a prior notice has been sent if the time schedule is significantly exceeded. Significant delay occurs at the earliest with more than 30 weekdays of deviation from the date agreed. If the time schedule is disturbed due to circumstances for which My Best Book is not responsible (including delays or non-deliveries from sub-suppliers, delays with the customer and the customer’s non-participation), delays cannot imply that the customer is provided with remedies for breach of contract, including access to cancellation.

If the delivery is delayed or prevented due to force majeure, My Best Book shall not be held liable. If an incident outside My Best Book’s control leads to a cost increase as regards My Best Book’s fulfilment of its obligation to deliver, My Best Book shall not be obliged to complete such obligations. With verifiable timely shipments (as regards the time of delivery agreed), My Best book cannot be held liable for the carrier’s delayed delivery or loss of the shipment. The customer cannot claim delay damages for products which have already been delivered.

Retention of title

The customer is not provided with the retention of title to physical products until My Best Book has received full payment. All goods from My Best Book shall remain the property of My Best Book until full payment has been received. After transfer to the customer, My Best Book reserves the right to use produced work as a reference in its own marketing efforts.

Complaints and non-conformities

My Best Book shall not be liable for any errors which have not been corrected in writing by the customer prior to the placement of the order. If the order turns out to be deficient or incorrect, the customer is obliged to give notice of such non-conformities within a reasonable time by contacting us directly. My Best Book shall be entitled to try to correct any non-conformity if the correction can be made within a reasonable time, and if it is assessed that My Best Book can be held liable for the deficiency.

NOTICE: that colours in the final printed book may differ from the colours as they are shown on the screen, and this is not considered as an error. In addition, skin and hair colours, as shown in the ordering process, are not precise and may vary in regard to how the characters are illustrated in the books.

The 2-year limited garantee is still in effect.

Limited liability

In case of delays or non-conformities of the delivered orders, My Best Book shall not be held liable for any operating loss, loss of profits, or other indirect loss, including loss caused by the customers legal relationship to a third party. Moreover, My Best Book shall only be liable for damages to the customer in case of loss or damage as a consequence of gross negligence or intentional actions. My Best Book shall not be liable for any indirect loss or direct loss if the latter is caused by delays, loss of data, or loss of profits.
